I like Garcia over Colon. I think Colon is going to break down over the season.

It will be Oswalt vs Burnett today.

Actually From the report, the Yanks feel the same way!
They are considering going with Colon and starting Nova in the minors.
When Colon wears out they would cut him and recall Nova.

As long as Nova is starting that is good. I don't want to see him pushed into a non-active bullpen role. He is going to be a nice middle rotation pitcher in a year or two. Add him to the 2 young guys in the minors and the Yankees future looks nice.

AJ looked good in the first inning.

Yankees looked good today. AJ went 3 perfect innings.

Just not ready to get worked up about AJ's performance!
He might have been the Yanks best pitcher through may, last year.
If he's above 500 by the break I might start to believe.

He needs to stick with his new delivery. Last year he was 3/4 or lower with his arm, now he is more over the top. It was nice to see his pitches stay in the area of the plate instead of breaking to the back of the batter box.
Did you watch the game Dom?

Couldn't watch No Yes network at work
Something we are trying to remedy

That needs to be fixed.
They interview Granderson after he finished playing and he will make a great announcer after he retires.

We gave Calon a shot two three seasons ago, he had absolutely nothing.
Watch how fat he gets once he starts getting big league meal money

Yankees and Orioles played to a 9 inning 0-0 tie tonight.

Yankees are playing the Braves today. Yanks are up 3-0 and Freddy Garcia is looking good.
:-) I think they will be having Betances and Brackman pitching next.

This 3B/1B Jorge Vasquez has a big bat. He has no speed though. With A-Rod & Teix at the corners this kid has no place to play except DH next season.

He can hit, like Dom said trade bait. It's nice to see so much good young talent for a change, I don't think the Yankees are in all that bad of shape. Plenty of youngsters around to give chances to, plenty of prospects to trade if they need something come trading deadline. I'm curious to see who gets the backup catching job since Cervelli is hurt, and Martin is about as durable as glass these days.

I think it is going to be Martin and Montero at catcher. If Montero isn't playing up to par then they can send him back to Triple-A to play everyday when Cervelli comes back. When Martin gets hurt and he will get hurt then they can rotate Montero & Cervelli.

Yogi fell again today while in the Yankees clubhouse. He was taken by ambulance to the hospital. They are saying he is ok. The Yankees need to get him a scooter.
