I am in Singapore right now and Patek dealers are every 100 yards. Would like to pick up some kind of watch before I leave, but not sure what. I am leaning towards the new IWC Aquatimer in a bracelet with silver dial. The reduced the size to 42 mm (non-chrono) which I think looks better than the previous model. I have plenty of time to shop around, but that is the one that's strikes my eye the most.
A friend wants me to buy him a Rolex Submariner with green dial. Best watch prices by far out here, especially on Rolex. He does not care about box or papers.

That's comes out to about $6800 USD for the green bezel Rolex. There's a new submariner model with a polished ceramic bezel that is really hot. I've seen a few people wearing them. Kind of like it better than the pepsi style one.

Michael, have you been on Watchuseek? Or download the Watch Recon app. And you can list alerts and it checks all the watch sales forums for a particular watch

Ok, so you just want a certain style of watch, the brand is secondary?
A PVD coated chrono with turning bezel? 45mm is pretty darn big and will date itself in a few years if you intend to keep it that long...

Its actually a friend that is looking for it and insists its a Tag Heuer Special Ops. Says it is issued to Seals, PJ's, and Rangers. I have never heard of it but it was quite a while ago that I was a PJ. The watch I had back then was a Timex.

The watches you have posted are not Tag Heuer

I know the first one was not but the second one when I copied the link the picture said Tag but now that I follow the link it shows something entirely different. Personally I kinda doubt the existence of this watch but hey there have been many military only issue items over the years.

I'm a huge Patek fan. I'd never be able to actually OWN one, but their designs are striking.
If I were me, I'd need a smaller format to fit under the suit coat, though. And I'd go for older vintage Patek watches than anything else. They were more... "simple," which is kind of an oxymoron when talking about time-keepers.

I own one of holy grails of Military issue watches; 2nd gen Omega X-33. I am having it overhauled by Omega right now. These were only sold to Military in USA and one of Omega's rarest watches (known as the Mars watch).
Not sure you buddy's budget, but I had planned on selling it once it comes back from them. He'll be hard pressed to find this watch in perfect certified condition anywhere... I want to get about $2600 which is quite fair.
