I heard that stuff was a winner at Shack. I wish I had participated. I have never seen it here either.

Lately the local gas station has had Redhook Sampler 12 packs, I really rather enjoy them, I buy 2 at the same time giving me a 6 pack each of their 4 varieties
the ESB,
The Copperhook
The Indian Pale Ale
the Pilsner
I have to say I like the IPA the best, The ESB is good but alittle heavy for my tastes, If I wanted a beer that heavy I'd buy a Guinness...

Picked up a 12'er of Sam Adams Oktoberfest at the store tonight. Finishing one off before I hit the sack.

I enjoyed Pumking the first time I had it. The past 3 or so years, I can't stand the stuff. Just way too overdone.

I feel the same way, but i still buy it as the wife loves the stuff. If you can find it Southern Tier has an Oak Aged version. ( the Pumking on the lable has a santa hat on)I find this one to have alot of the same flavor only toned down quite a bit. Very very good. Not sure if they bottle it yet or not i have only seen in in kegs.Got a growler of it a week ago and drank quite a bit of it at the brewery last year.

SN Southern Harvest. When I first poured the beer into my tulip glass some major "green" dank aromas really filled the air. Faded now, more citrus and floral notes.
