I believe they are magnetic necklace which is suppose to improve blood flow, and help with aches and pains. I think they really wear them for marketing reasons. All the kids on my sons select baseball team wear them because they see all the major leaguer's wearing them.

Absolutely fantastic. Rangers have completely outplayed the Yankees in this series and I'm loving it. Offense, defense, pitching... We were just 1 inning away from a 4-0 sweep :-)
