Wine, Beer, and Spirits>The Bourbon Thread!!

Got a bottle of Whistle Pig Rye for Xmas and it is evaporating quickly. I have been drinking a lot of rye whiskeys lately and this is one of the best I have tried, it is sweet and smooth and I just can’t stay away from it.

Just uncorked a bottle of Angels Envy - absolutely superb! In my top five, just behind Blantons and ahead of Knob, Woodford & jeffersons! :-)

In my long absence I have really gotten into Bourbon and Scotch to a lesser extent. I'll be going back through all of the pages of this thread over the next couple of days.

I just got this as a gift this week. It's the best out of their whole line in my opinion.

Just can't get into burbon or any USA whisky. Scotch is for me, the only way to go.
Just so much more going on!

E Dub 1783. Don't judge. It's pretty good stuff.

Can't argue with that.
I typically will have 1-2 glasses of 'the good stuff' and then switch to EW.
By then. my tongue can't tell the difference.
At about $17 for a 1.75 liter bottle, it's damm good chit. - better than Traitor Jack.

That's exactly what I do, too! Evan Williams is a constant presence on my bar. A glass of Booker's, then switch to good ol' Evan. :-)

So you came into a thread solely dedicated to Bourbon just to say "I don't care for Bourbon."

Neither have I, but I always keep an eye out for it. As do, I imagine, every other Bourbon lover out there. :-) One of these days...

Hey friends, there is a lot of Pappy on the shelves here in Southern Nevada. If you should ever want, I'd be happy to set you up, with what you want, if that year is available.

If this was for me, you need to tell me exactly what you want. Then I can check it out, prices, etc.
