Woodford is always a good starting point. Great bang for the buck and a good starter bourbon. Maker's is also handy to have around, especially since its so versatile and can be used in a number of mixed drinks.

I've been on a Rye kick this winter. WhistlePig might be my new favorite adult beverage!

I have my name on a barrel of Maker's. Anxiously waiting for it to be ready one of these years so I can buy a bottle from my own barrel.

Finally found these on a trip to Atlanta (airport) today. Will have to wait for tasting until I finish the Larceny I'm currently working on.

And here's a pic of my recently completed cabinet. Big thanks to my buddy Kyle who helped with the construction. Remote control lights, even!

Just picked up a bottle of this:

Awesome stuff. Nice flavor and very affordable. It's made by Wild Turkey so if your local shop doesn't have it you can probably order it easily.

I picked these up last week traveling thru Knoxville. Got to do a taste test on each beforehand, and decided they both required purchase! The 9 year old is exceptionally smooth, but not as flavorful as the 11 year old one. The older one was not as smooth, but was bursting with flavor!

Think there is a place by my work that may still has a bottle ($60) if you're interested.
Picked these up last week. Probably done buying until the fall/winter

And the nice thing about McScrooge's: Once done there, I can jump on the side road, and 3-5 minutes later, i can be at the Smoky Mtn Brewery in Turkey Creek! And when my wife is with me (as she was this trip), I can have the full beer sampler with my meal, and she can drive us back to Bama! Good booze and good beer, both in close proximity!
