The last few weeks are going to be exciting in deciding the seeding for the playoffs.
Avs down to 7th.... Next 2 against the Kings(6th), on the road tonight, then back home Wednesday....

I don't think the Flyers will make the playoffs. They have no NHL quality goalie to get them through the rest of the season. Sad.
:-) And to add insult to injury, Carter's out for 3-4 weeks. Ugh.

Wings are 8-2-1 since the Olympic break. Anyone who thinks they aren't the favorite to come out of the West (especially with the way Jimmy Howard is playing lately) hasn't been watching hockey. Hope they move far up enough in the seeding that the Hawks don't catch them in Round 1.

The Blackhawks should just count on meeting the Avs in round 1.....

Hope not....too many mixed emotions. I would of course root for the Hawks, but I would like to see Craig do well and get some playoff experience.

Big win for the Hawks over Phoenix. Nice!

Agreed. The Wings have gotten very hot of late. Almost everyone has been playing 500 or worse hockey since the Olympics. The Wings and Yotes are playing great hockey. I expected them to come on strong at the end, but didnt expect everyone else to play 500 or worse.
Sharks finally got a win tonight and with a little help from the Hawks got out of fourth, but I dont know how long the luck will last.

Hawks looked a lot better with Seabrook back in the line-up, though they still gave up too mnay chances and needed Niemi to bail them out several times.
Both my fantasy goalies got wins (Niemi and Nabokov), so I am happy.

Nice to see them winning the games that can mean alot in the up coming weeks.
I just hope not another two good games and 5 crappy ones

One of my favorite barks from the bench.
Another "get off your knees ref your blowing the game."

Wings beat the Blues 4-2
:-) Played a little sloppy in the first but then got it together for the rest of the game. 3 points behind 5th seed.

My favorite all time shark and my childhood hero.
Damn thats funny though.
I met Ricci at the local toys r us little over a year ago. He was there with his kids. Very cool guy. He saw me eyeballing him and gave me the nod. I walked over and told him he was my alltime favorite shark. He still had the flow. Let my son say high who was rocking the flow also. We left at near the same time. He made it a point to make contact with me as he left and exchange some words. Awesome dude, very humble. Drives a Ford pickup truck like me.

Would have loved to have had Ricci on the Hawks, the guy had grit, guts and heart.
