You could also bolt her down to the roof of one of those old cars in your back yard. The shocks and springs will take up some whammy, you don't even need air in the tires.
I'd take her off the blocks, though. Then she'll skid if she needs to. :-)
You gotta think outside the box, my brother!!!
Neighbors called the law and the county made me haul off the cars Scott. All the shootin got the dogs raisin hell…… :-)

So...I resisted said purchase for almost a whole week! Or maybe that should be spelled "weak" in my case. :-)

This thing seems very well thought out and put together. Shoots dead on with 230 grain ball ammo. Functions with that and jacketed hollow point, although I didn't fire off too many of those in it yet.

What I do to test reliability with defensive ammo without draining my wallet so bad is as follows: I load magazines alternating ball and JHP rounds. I fire the ball ammo and then make sure the next-up HP round has fed okay. Then I eject that and fire the next ball round.

But before trusting the gun for self protection I will fire off a few magazines full of the JHP's, even if it does cause an imaginary cash register sound effect in my head. :-)

Somewhere about the 100 mark of JHP's downrange (and at least a couple hundred round nosers), without problems encountered, followed by proper cleaning and oil application I then deem the gun good to go.

Your mileage may vary but to date that system has worked pretty well. Of course if I do any parts upgrades that could affect function, more testing takes place.

Bullet setback is something to watch for but I don't run the same rounds through a gun multiple times even with reliability testing.

Yeah what he said. Start with a close target, not more than 50 yards then move it out as you get close to center mass on the target.

I typically start at 50 yards....

If it's a bolt gun... take bolt out, look through back down through bore and put bore hole on bullseye, move crosshairs to bullseye. That should get you pretty good as a starting point. (obviously not moving the rifle by using a vise, or bipod and bags)

Use a rest or bipod.... Shoot and adjust until you can get it on paper. Once on paper, put crosshairs on bullseye and then adjust crosshairs to bullet hole. That will get you pretty close.
