Valverde made it interesting as usual in game 2 of the Tigers - Rangers doubleheader. Man, that guy is a waking heart attack.

Texas beats the Tigers three outta four.

Josh Hamilton and Mike Napoli have 13 homers between them.

Miguel Cabrera and Price Fielder have 6. Hell, Austin Jackson has more HRs than Prince. Time for the bats to come around...Tigers are going to need them considering their middle relief is pitiful.

Rangers need to get this series against the Evil Empire.

Not sure why Texas would need this series. :-)
They have a 5.5 game lead on Oakland and the Angles can't seem to get out of their own way.
If they do lose the series, they'll be fine.

I thought it was very fitting that "Pudge" threw out the first pitch at Texas yesterday...and threw from home to second. :-) :-)

I actually thought it was a bit overdone.
He should've just started out behind the plate and made the throw.
No reason to march him out to the mound first, and have the PA guy make an announcement.
Just seemed forced to me. :-)

Delmon Young is being charged with a hate crime for a man he assualted in NY. WTF???

Rocky Pen's seem to be the norm around the league thus far.
Except for the Yanks, their pen is great.
It's their starters that blow! :-)

While the pen did blow it, this wasn't one of his better starts.
Verlander doesn't have a career win in Yankee stadium.
In his last 3 starts there he has failed to go more than 6 innings.
Curious numbers from a guy who seems to throw 120 pitches every outing.

Rangers' 'pen has been outstanding. Love this Robbie Ross kid, and Ogando is great as always. Nathan was a decent pick up for closer. Prefer Feliz in that role, and bringing Feldman back to start. But it is what it is.

Waiting for the truth on this one, sounds a bit fishy to me.

5 losses in a row thanks to the Tigers' bullpen (or should I say their lack of one).
