Hawks put Handzus on long term IR and sent Morin back to the Icehogs, looks like Kris will be in the line-up tomorrow. :-)

Headed down to the United Center for the Hawsk-Sharks game tomorrow, wanted to go to this one as both teams have looked great early. Hopefully the Hawks rebound from their worst game of the season today in Bumpkintwon.

Avs lost their third in a row, I have a feeling this is going to be a roller coaster ride this season :-)

Had a great time at the Hawks game. I've watched most of the Sharks games this season, so I know how dangerous they are, but tonight was the Hawks' night.

Actually though Couture was going to have a monster night after his first couple shifts, but hardly noticed him after that. Got to see the speed of Hertl and Wingels in person, but they didn't dent the scoresheet either.

Just got home, Avs up big.... Wish I would have DVR'd this....

Big win again for Avs tonight... Took OT after giving up lead in 3rd, then tying up after going down... Long and short, win better than loss...

Looks like Avs are skating 4 on 5 all the 1st... Not often I've just watched the look out skated, but the Kings are flying around.

Totally flipped 2nd? Avs need to get on the board! Have to kill another +/- 3 minutes of PK to start the 3rd!

2 goals in 9 seconds in the 3rd gave the Hawks a comeback win....Crawford was huge.

A lot of times, when a team is struggling, the team will look to the captain to spark something, sometimes with a fight. For the Flyers the spark may have come not from Giroux, but from Emery's fight that seemed so egregious at the time. Since that fight, the Flyers have gone 7-1-1 to get themselves back to .500.

There's hope in this season yet!

Flyers turnaround has been a good one, Joel, and since they are in the East, they still are in the hunt! :-)

P.S.....I am a big fan of Emery, despite the trend to bash him right now.

Ok I guess I'll chime in and get yelled at. If Subban doesn't make the Canadian olympic team, I'll have to kick Yzerman where it counts :-)

as long as they pick the best of the talent available(subban or not) ... not like world juniors were subban(other subban) was pre selected months ahead of time to be the #1 goalie ... the best goalie in camp was sent back to Edmonton (after a great camp) .
