Bought some Balvenie 12 year that some of the boys down at the lounge helped me drink the other night over some fine cigars.
Have a bottle of Glenfiddich 30 year old on the way for the holiday fesivities.

I know it's not scotch, never bought a bottle of that either, but I thought I might try something besides a Coca Cola when I am sitting and enjoying my cigars after dinner.
Add a splash of water!

My wife bought me a bottle of Talisker out of the blue the other day. I love that stuff.
I bought myself a bottle of the glenmorangie quinta ruban last week. It is becoming a go-to for me. I love it.

Finlaggan from Trader Joe's. I haven't tried it yet, but a decent Islay for 18 bucks seems like it's too good to be true. The reviews are mostly good though, likening it to a young Lagavulin. Anybody tried it?

I was just given a bottle of The Balvenie 17 year New Oak for Christmas. I can believe my friend found a bottle of this, it was produced 3 years ago. I am going to save it until Christmas Eve when we do extended family Christmas. I hope I have the will power to last that long. At least I have a bottle of the 12 year double wood I can drink in the mean time.

Tried the Finlaggan over the weekend -- it's not Lagavulin by a long shot, but it's definitely Islay -- peat, salt, and iodine up the wazoo. For the price, I'm not disappointed.
