Sports>Hail To The Redskins!!
Mr.Maduro 08:01 AM 09-28-2009
By the second quarter I was hoping the Skins lost...they need a kick in the ass in the worst way. Hopefully losing miserably to the Lions does the trick...they need a major overhaul. On paper, the schedule isn't that bad.... on paper we look like we have a decent team....

I guess it was written on toilet paper.... :-)

When I heard the Skins lost, you were the first person I thought of, Patrick.

My condolences.

Yeah, the Redskins are not looking good at all this year... Hopefully, this loss will give them a good kick in the arss to get them motivated...

What a crappy game that was.....

The Lions win is about the only thing Michigan has going for them as a state. :-)

There's no doubt this team has talent, and a defense that is still top notch (despite giving up 19 to the Lions.) I'm even willing to give Zorn a little more time. The thing I hate about us--and am most frustrated about--is that we don't have much control over the ownership & front office. Dan Snyder is killing this franchise.

It was ugly...but I'll take it.

Yep. :-)

Best pass Campbell threw all day was when he hit that ref in the head.

I guess in the back of my mind, I knew this. This confirms it though.

Wow. That's an interesting stat. It just goes to show you how bad the Skins really are.

Honestly, I don't know what else to expect from a team whose players and coaches are constantly sabotaged by the ownership. Dan Snyder is the Al Davis of the east coast. Until he hires a real GM and let HIM build a real team, nothing will change.

Maybe I should follow the example of that guy who wrote letters to the front office of all 32 NFL teams asking why he should root for them.

:-) We suck very very badly! The Redskins are making it very hard for me to cheer for them living in Philly and being able to watch a team with a chance of doing something other than lossing the the worse teams in the league. But, as a faithfull Skins' fan, I will... :-)l

I'm almost glad that I can't see the games on a regular basis. I think my foot would be through the TV by this point.

I DVR the games and watch on fast forward. Much easier to tolerate 45min of pain, than 3 1/2 hours...

Holy crap Patrick!!!
What the heck has happened to this team?
Where did the offense go this year?
Truly sad, even for a Giants fan.

I like Jim Zorn. I was in Seattle when he was their starting QB and always enjoyed watching him play. I thought he did a serviceable job as the QB coach for Seattle.

All that being said, I just don't think Zorn was ready to be a head coach in the NFL. I think he would have been a good offensive coordinator - which is what he was originally hired to be - and that he would have gained valuable knowledge and experience as an offensive coordinator. But he was just not ready to be a head coach and this may cost him any opportunity down the line to be a head coach with another team.
