Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on as always. Well, the Yankees acquired Ichiro Suzuki and went ahead and won 4 - 1 over the Mariners (his old team). The fans gave him a standing ovation and approved of the trade and gave him a traditional Japanese farewell. These two teams play again this evening and hopefully they can repeat last night's win. Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's "Hump Day". Well, the Yankees lost last night and what's worst is that A-Rod is out with a shattered wrist after being hit by a wild pitch. Not sure how long but it's not good. Well tonight, we'll have Ian's (thefayguy) bachelor party at Hudson Valley Cigars / Schlesinger's Steak House and Cigar Bar which should be a great time. Tonight we have the wedding rehearsal followed up the dinner at Schlesinger's Steak House and Cigar Bar while Eddie Ortega has his cigar event going on at Hudson Valley Cigars. Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's looking like it's going to be another damp cool day. I'm going to head down to Plum Point on the Hudson River in a bit and see if the fellas are down there smoking cigars and enjoying their Sunday morning coffees. I see that the Yankees came up short yesterday, hopefully they'll win today as it's the rubber game of the series with Boston. Congrats goes out to Brad Keselowski for winning the inaugural Nationwide race at yesterday NASCAR race at the Brickyard. Today, the Sprint Cup racers will be out there starting at 1200 and hopefully Dale Jr. in the #88 Amp / National Guard Chevrolet does well. Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's Thursday which means I'll be at Schlesinger's Cigar Bar / Hudson Valley Cigars this evening getting the final tally done for this Saturday's Quad State Herf. It was good to see the Yankees win last night and hopefully the beat the Tigers again today with the game starting at 1305 (1:05pm). Busy day today running around getting a lot done for the Herf (coordinating the pick up of beer, soda, water, tables & chairs, sound system) and still getting my normal work done here at the Academy.
