Early in the series, Capitals owner Ted Leonsis said it was "a shame" that the teams were forced to play back-to-back games, calling it "bad for the league, both fan bases and for the players."

For his part, Yanni thanked all involved -- particularly the Mellon Arena -- for "recognizing the importance of presenting the highest quality sports and entertainment to the fans of the city of Pittsburgh."

Wow! Canes have looked very good. I have to admit, though, after Game One I was worried...a lot. I know it is not over, but here's hoping that the Canes can keep up the intensity. :-)

Hope James is having fun watching the pre-game skate...Go Wings! :-)

Jr and I went out and got a S video cable. With a little work we can now watch the Red Wing game on the TV fed from the laptop.

That makes me happy.

Getting psyched for our Hurricane's Party at a friend's house tonight... 16 of us 'Canes Fans will be getting together to watch game 5. Would love to be in Boston for this one. :-)

Bruins came to play tonight....don't think they can do this well 3 games in a row though. We shall see. :-)

It would be a lot smarter for the Bruins to play another game like they played tonight, and not look for payback/retaliation. Good way to be golfing Wednesday. :-)
