Craft beer week has treated me well.
Founders night at Glass Nickel had:
breakfast stout
Better half
Kbs
Old curmudgeon
Then near home it an Ale Asylum event and had some triple nova which I guess they're not going to bottle this year.

Yes, the new batch. I enjoyed it! I've attempted aging a few beers...usually with little success as eventually my desire to drink it overcomes my patience.
:-) I did let one of my two bottles of last year's KBS cellar for a year and just had it recently. Maybe it's my palette, or a year wasn't enough but I didn't pick up a discernable difference.

Ballast Point Sculpin IPA

Both on tap tonight.
:-) The 120 was a 10oz pour, that sh*t kicked my ass on an empty stomach

HaandBryggeriet coffee porter. Possibly my first beer from norway, a bit mild for a porter but I'm enjoying it.

Sat night i went to Brewology at the Buffalo Science Museum. It was pretty sweet. Alot of beers to taste and seminars on home brewing. Last night we did a side by side tasting of Southern Tiers Backburner Barleywine and their Barrel aged Backburner Barleywine. Its amazing what a few months in a bourbon barrel will do to the flavor. The carmel and vanilla made for a fantastic beer.
:-) Wish they bottled it.

On Saturday my wife and I went to Stoudts Brewery in PA for their spring Microfest. 17 breweries were there and we spent four hours sampling all the brews.
If you get a chance to attend one of these(they do three each year) it's a blast. $35 for four hours with food and a band. Also you can smoke cigars there also.
