Don't give up on it. It will get MUCH better as you get into it. All three books really are a great read. Its a shame the author passed away. I read there was going to be a series of 10 books in all. After I finished the last one I was kind of bummed out that there was not another in the series to read.

Read the first two and I'm now 2/3rd through
The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets Nest. Enjoy the plots and characters. But, it's still hard to cope with all the Swedish names.
