For my 14th birthday my Dad bought me that same rifle :-) and that was my first firearm but I have yet to buy one. My father has been gracious enough to gift me that rifle and a Remington 870 express.

I also have a Remmy 870 Express. I freaking love that shotgun. I put a new recoil pad on it and it is awesome. :-)

Sometimes I carry in a fanny pack.
If I'm wearing a holster, I've even gone so far as to hang the weapon from the trigger guard on the coat hook on the back of the door.
I've also used the handicap bathroom that has it's own sink and what-not. Plenty of places there to rest it.
If none of those are available, maybe even look for different facilities to use.

Besides... If you're gonna be carrying an LCP, you prolly won't have that problem. Those li'l pugs will fit in your pocket.

I want an LCP but as of now it seems a long way away. Now i have my Glock 27 and its small but bulky and heavy. I do love it though.
Catfish 01:25 PM 10-15-2009
Aren't LCP's only like $400?
Wolfgang 03:15 PM 10-15-2009
$275 if your lucky. $350 more commonly. Remember im a poor college student. I can say that in this thread because no one cane bomb me a LCP mwahahahahahahahI just hit the $300 mark yesterday in my savings. Now I have to find one.

Anyone know what the prices for stripped lowers are going for now? I don't really care what brand it is, just as long as it is mil-spec.

Maybe we can work out a deal for some ISOM's for hardware...

You aren't going to wait for the 9mm version?

Is there rumors of that? I'd love an lcp size/weight firearm that shoots either 9 or .40. I doubt I'd put more than a few rounds through it each range session though.

Spikes Tactical has a sale going on now, I think they are about $100.

FINALLY...I just won me a Ruger Single Six on GB. I've been wanting one for a while and I finally got one. The cool part is that I got a great deal on it and that it was manufactured in my birth year (1981) according to the serial #. What were the odds of that.

Can't wait for it to get here. :-)

Now it's time to find me a Ruger SP101 .357 with a 3 1/16" barrel.
Anyone have one of these?
elderboy02 11:05 AM 10-24-2009
Nice pickup on the Single Six :-)

Not if the round count moves down to 5+1 for 9mm and 4+1 for .40 lol

What is it?
It started out as a mac-11 and then was converted to use sten mags and has the complete max11 set-up added.

Here is one of the funniest things I have ever read on AR15 dot com.

Be warned, there is some profanity there if that offends you

How do you like the 6.8 over a regular 5.56? I want to build a new AR in the future and have been debating on whether to go with a .308 or a 5.56 platform. The 6.8 sits on a 5.56 lower correct?
Catfish 08:32 AM 10-27-2009
Very nice rifles.
