georgie is kind of like a british wise guy IIRC. One of those guys that talks nonsense like Austin Powers and his dad did in Goldmember. Just means you drink it like someone from that area, well, some of those from the area.

Dogfish Head World Wide stout. A little too boozy for my taste. before that I have a hang ten from clipper city. That was rather strong also.

My son and I are about to open a bottle of Rogue Shakespeare Stout and follow that with a Rogue Chocolate Stout. We also have some Hobgoblin chilling.

I thought the same of both of these when I had them. The 120 minute IPA, while boozy, was not too much so for it's strength. The hang ten is 10%, but I thought it tasted as boozy as the WWS, even though the WWS is 20%.
Still both too boozy tasting for my liking.

Finished off a big bottle of Yellow Snow IPA. Quite tasty, as are most Rogue beers!

damn WWS was 20%? bottle I grabbed didnt say. The hang ten is ok. I think it would be much better if it was a little lighter I guess. There stout is good though at 8%.\
Have yet to grab a 120 IPA. I kinda steer away from brews that look more up the wine alley.

Holey Cow 20% That is not beer that's a liquer or at least a brandywine...

They were both good. I thought the Shakespeare was better. The Chocolate Stout has a nice bittersweet chocolate taste that isn't overpowering. It's a bit more hoppy than I normally like but I think that it is very drinkable. My only issue was figuring out what temperature to drink it at. I had it in the refrigerator so it was cold when I first poured it. In my opinion the flavor improved as it warmed up.

I try to drink all my beer at a little chiller then room temp. Maybe it is me but I think they all taste better that way. I will pull it out of the fridge and pour it and not touch it for a few minutes as it warms up in the glass.

Another Sam Adams Imperial Stout. Wasn't all that impressed about this beer the first time around. Since I grabbed a 4 pack, it gets a few more chances...

Drinking my first Duvel. The head is more like meringue than foam. Yowza!

But the beer itself left me decidedly underwhelmed. Wonder why I "missed" it? This is supposed to be like one of the world's top 5 beers.

I drank one of my 22oz Troegs Java head stouts. It has gotten better since I first bought it I can say that much.

Beer, cigars, it doesn't matter what you're talking about. In the end it comes down to personal preference. Just because someone says a cigar/beer is the best in the world doesn't mean you'll like it.
Double Bastard... Much smoother than Arogant Bastard
