It's Winter Lager time now. Unless you happen upon some by sheer luck you'll have to wait until next September to get your hands on some more.

I had a bottle recently. I wasn't wowed by it. It had a bitterness that started off good and grew to become bad. It's hard to put into words. I think there are a lot better beers out there to spend money on IMO.

I drink the Werewolf (Lithuanian Beer) last night. It is supposed to be a Belgian Dark Ale. I don't see how anyone can call it dark. It's not. You can see through it for heaven's sake. It is however a rich orange tinted dark amber. I thought the aroma was nice and fruity and picked up a pronounced citrus flavor from the first taste. The label says its 8.2% alcohol but I didn't find any alcohol bite to speak of. I paid $4.99 a bottle (16.9 oz) and at that price I may buy some more. I thought it was very drinkable.

Drinking a Guinness Stout. Not my favorite, but certainly a worthy beer.

Made a beer run this weekend.
Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout - One of my favorite seasonal beers, not sure why they went to a 4/pk format.
Victory Golden Monkey - Another perennial all-star in my book, new in stock at my store.
Stone Vertical Epic 09 - have not had the 09 yet, but past years have been great.
Stone Sublimely Self Righteous - new to me, but have heard good things.

Picked up some Sam Adams Hefeweizen and Bud Light Golden Wheat.
Having one of the BL's now. I hate Bud Light, but I enjoy wheat beers. So eventually my curiosity got the best of me. So far its good. It aint no Blue Moon but it aint Bud Light either lol.
