Hey there Dan
sorry to say, but that cab is too small!
seriously, it looks beautiful, I love the way a glass front displays the boxes. It is very elegant, and I take away a sense pride and tradition.
very , very nice

I'd like to find some kind of 'refrigeration unit' or something in order to keep the cabinet at a specific temp. Any suggestions?

You will need to perform some surgery on your cabinet but your only real option is to install some form of ThermoElectric cooler...
A local guy built a custom cigar cabinet and he ripped apart a Coleman cool/warm cooler to scavenge the THC out of it... it works well but his cabinet is about 1/2 size of yours...
I'm looking at modding my compressor-based wine-cooler with a THC from a Coleman cooler... I would like to minimize the humidity swings...

Dayum ! Was your wife aware of all those boxes in hiding ? Mine knows I have a cooler in the basement but I'm pretty sure she has no idea how many cigars are hiding inside it .

She just shook her head and sighed (good-naturedly). I think it was (is) more of a shock to me. I've never seen all my boxes in one place before... it's awesome, but I keep catching myself just standing in front of it and staring...

Get some Super Absorbant Polymers (
www.watersorb.com) and you'll have no problems with water spillage. A dash of grain alcohol and you'll never have mold.

Awesome cab, looks great. I think I'd have to buy my wife a Jag to get something like that in our house.
