I think the world has reached it's packer fan carrying capacity. Any more and we'd all starve to death. (or run out of brats and miller lite, whichever comes first.)

LMAO Wade!

Just as you wouldn't jump ship, neither would I. :-) I will forever drown in these frigid waters.

I think we need to trade AP. It wouldn't be a popular move but I think his best years are about over. He may have another couple of great years in him but I think he's going to keep getting injured and his performance will start to slip. We can trade him now for some good draft picks and have a great team in a couple of years. It'll take that time to rebuild if we trade him or not, we have too many areas that need improvement.

As far as firing coaches goes, that doesn't make any sense. Frasier is still dealing with Chili's draft picks and poor decisions. He needs at least another 2 years to draft new players and build the team the way he wants it.

What would the Vikings realistically expect to get for a 27 year old runningback with a shredded knee and a lot of miles? I assure you, not what he's worth to the Vikings.

Percy Harvin is certainly trying to get into the MVP discussion. He made a bunch of plays yesterday, and has really turned this team around.

You NFL guys are finding out what I got to enjoy for 3 yrs at Florida - Percy Harvin playing on another level.

These two met in the endzone a time or two:

Yes, Mr. Harvin makes the others guys on the football field look slow and uncoordinated. He's an amazing talent that I love to watch week in and week out.

Wow. Ponder looks lost again today. Doesn't help that Ed Hochuli seems intent on a Packers win. Can't believe the Vikings are actually up in this game...thanks AP.

Wondering how long it takes for the Packer D to put everybody and their brother into the box. They have no reason to be worried about Ponder right now.

Only 7 times since 1960 has a team had a 200 yard rushing effort by a player, and still lose. Ponder was the reason we lost this game with two critical interceptions. My question is why were we even throwing the ball in either of those situations? Peterson was a beast today. If I were him, I would give Ponder a swirly.

I thought the announcers said only twice it's happened before today... :-)

Said teams were 50 something and 2 coming into today.

Maybe in the past certain number of years or so. As of today, teams with a 200 yard rusher are 106-8. There has been a total of 114 games with a 200 yd rusher since 1960.
According to Pro-football-reference.com anyways.

Another 200 plus yard effort from AP, this time we got a win out of it! Skol Vikings!

The dude is an absolute beast. I've been lucky enough to have witnessed the majority of his playing career not only with the Vikings, but at Oklahoma as well.

Quick anecdote. Right before the 2007 NFL draft, there were rumors that Peterson's stock was slipping because of all the various injuries that he had in college (thus being viewed as not very durable). Never before or since had I wished so hard for a player to fall to the Packers (who I believe picked 16th that year). Well, Peterson did fall, all the way down to seven and right in the Vikings laps. I consoled myself with the fact that it was unrealistic that he'd fall that far, and that one of either Marshawn Lynch (12th) or Darrelle Revis (14th) would fall to us. The Packers ended up drafting Justin Harrell. Who you ask?

Exactly. :-)
