Thanks brother, I actually like when I sit down and start doodeling and it turns into something. I don't have a good imagination so I can't just sit down and know what I want to draw typically. That skull was a request of a co-worker for a tattoo. He was in the meeting with me and kept trying to look down the table at it. I redrew it for him a little more anatomicaly correct but he liked this version better after all. Here is the sketch with the ink outline of the second one, I may have posted it in the tattoo thread before:

The sketch is awesome, but I think it will all come down to the media used for the actual art. I have noticed that with most "caves" or smoking dens they are generally darker and relaxed. I really enjoy the look of oils and charcoal in rich colors in that type of atmosphere. Some water colors have a lack of presence in my eyes, but I am certainly no expert in these matters. I just like things that are pretty
:-)
Something along the lines of this... is what I am trying to describe.

Personally I see a simple drawing or sketch as art, if it speaks to you personally or not.
Thanks for the opinion though, I respect your honesty.

Really like today's minutes, Shane.
Zombies, cigar, and coffee on the mind?
:-)
Think it would make a cool tattoo too.

Yah I am noticing a trend, I always draw a cigar now and sometimes add coffee. I need a life!
