Congrats man.. just feel like throwing this one out. You should propose on a roller coaster. Pop the question on the way up. Just make sure you don't lose the ring :-)

They only live maybe 45 minutes away, so I might hop on the bike and ride over before Sunday.
He's awesome. I absolutely love Lisa's whole family, especially her Dad. I know he'll be surprised I asked, being he gave her away a long time ago. But she's his daughter, and I think it's very important. I know that I'd expect the same, even though kids today probably don't know any better. :-)

Always ask. No matter the situation. Unless of course the Father isn't around. It's a motion of Respect and I'm sure it's appreciated by all Fathers.

Congrats again Brother!

glad your asking her Dad, like said above....its all about respect, kids today don't get it....always look her Dad in the eye and have a firm hand shake and remember she will always be Daddy's little girl

That's very cool Scott, congratulations. Very nerve wracking experience, or at least for me it was.

I told Alina's father how much I loved his daughter and wanted to spend the rest of my life with her as her husband, if that was alright with him.

And I know three young men that "know better" and will do what's right when it's their time.

Wishing you and Lisa the best that life has to offer.

I finally got a chance to ask Lisa's Dad for her hand. He was very happy I did. He has four girls and they've all been married more than once, except one. He said that Frank was the only other guy that asked. He's married to the only sister that's only been married once. I figure that's a real good sign that we have a good start. :-)
I asked Lisa to marry me, she said yes, and she loved the ring.
I'm still overwhelmed. I'm ecstatic, but my little brain hasn't even had time to ring this stuff up yet. :-)
