Can I bring a hot woman over to see the new installation?
Yes, you can have some. I'm too old to care.

Looks more like a humidor floor than a walk in!

And out the back to the pool house.
:-)
You need to make a road trip to OH to christen this baby. My guess is that the smoke room will be done by the end of Feb.

It's always confused me that folks build "walk in's" but once you are in there is no room to walk. So I guess this is a "walk around". Had the space, so like women and shoes (or guys with cigars) the challenge taken is to fill it up.
:-)
Hopefully past behavior will be sufficient to meet the challenge.
Contractor and I are having a chat tomorrow on the little things like end cabinets, over the window area shelves or not and the big issue - do we leave any vertical surface without wood? I'm thinking no painted surface exposed - he's thinking more work = more money. Won't be much of an argument but you always need to respect others opinions.

Dave - what kind of wood(s) are you using for the walk-in? Any insight into the decision making on the choice is appreciated.

Good to see you. It's not for the lack of wood .. just the absence of fire to consume it.

Mahogany and cedar. Large surfaces are structural faced mahogany. Trim and shelves are cedar.

Not too shabby good sir. Much has changed since I regularly chimed in but I'm glad to see that many things have stayed the same.
I do miss the camaraderie!

That one doesn't like me anymore, brother.
I'll have to carry a new one of some sort.
:-)
I need to see outside the entry door to plan your "Casa De Klugs" signage.

You may be disappointed. Just a plain door with a lock is the plan. Glass door with some kind of graphic for the smoke room though.
