I agree with Brooks that I haven't met the "100 Point Cigar" yet, and perhaps shouldn't.
But I've come close, twice, both in the last month, actually. I had the pleasure of smoking a Bolivar Petite Corona from '98, and that was really a "perfect cigar" in the sense that I couldn't have asked for anything that it didn't give me, and then some. I'm still a noob in the CC world, and have had so many bad ones that I'd really given up. But this has renewed my interest
:-)
The second was my first Padron Anny 40th Maduro. The most expensive cigar I've ever smoked, but also one of the very best. I was expecting it to be good (love the '64 line), but this thing still managed to WOW me! Just loved the sweetness of the first third.
Other "always do the trick" sticks for me are:
Tatuaje Verocu East/West Coast
Tatuaje Black (jar)
Tatuaje Boris
Liga Privada T-52
Liga Privada #9 Flying Pig
PAN/PAM '64

I've gone through almost 3 boxes of Bolivar Legendario RE Switzerland. Consistently close to perfect. In fact, I think I'll go light one up now

Well I never have had a cigar I rated the perfect 100 .. I rated the Padron 1964 Exclusivo Natural that was 10 years old a 99 out of 100. It was awesome ! Then the other cigar I rate a 99 is a Partagas 150B . And another one rated 99 would be a Opus X Perfection X that was 8 years old.

I've smoked several of great cigars but none has been an "end all be all" to me. I don't think there would be one......everyones tastes are different.

Until recently I had never hit the perfect 100. Several 99s... But never a 100.
My first and only 100 is the LG Diez Small Batch #3. Freakin' stellar!
In a close second: LFD DL700 Maduro
Third: LFD Coronado
There are numerous others that deserve high ratings, but none have been as perfectly consistent as the ones listed. That or I haven't smoked enough of them to label them as 100s. I have NEVER had a single bad stick of the DL700 or coronado... and I've smoked more than a box worth of each. The LG is new to me... I picked up 3 a few days ago and it WOWed the hell out of me. Each one was perfectly consistent and stellar!

Just had a Murcielago Rothschild this morning that was absolutely phenomenal and I would consider to be a 100 point cigar.

I may have a slightly different opinion on the whole 100 point thing. I think a cigar hits a 100 points for me if it's a true representation of a certain flavor profile, and of course burns fairly well. I call these 'perfect cigars'. They don't have to compete with each other, be overly complex or expensive, nor be physically beautiful, just deliver the goods in the smoking department. I have a lot of these but off the top of my head:
Tat black CG and robusto
Tat noella and noella reserva
La Riqueza 5 and petite robusto
Frank and Boris
DPG blue robusto
DPG black robusto
DPG JJ robusto
Illusione cg:4
Illusione 68
Epernay robusto
Oliva v belicoso
09 V maduro
Cain F robusto
Monte 2's that are on...
There's more, but that's a quick list...

never had a 100 pointer either, but the more recent cigars to come out of Cuba have been some of the best I've ever smoked.
my top 3:
'08 Vegas Robaina Famosos/Familiars
'08/'09 H. Upmanns (all of them)
'04 Partagas Shorts
It just seems like the H. Upmann marca is getting the best tasting tobacco right now, not sure why, but they taste much more rich and complex than most all other CCs I've smoked lately.

Tough call but for me it would absolutely have to be the Davidoff 100th Anniversary Robusto in the NC world. In the CC world, hands-down, it would have to be the Dunhill Estupendo from 1984.

My top two rated cigars that I've smoked to date have been:
2009 H Upmann Mag 46
Tatuaje Pork Tenderloin
The H Upmann I had in DBall's BTT and it was the highest rated cigar I had. At 9.9 (or 99 if you want to rate it on the 100 point scale) it was almost perfect in every way except some very minor draw issues at the beginning of the cigar that cleared up.
The Pork Tenderloin I didn't review or rate, but everything about it was amazing. From the beautiful wrapper, the perfect draw, and the amazing flavors, if I had reviewed it I'm sure I would've given it as close to if not a perfect score.
Unfortunately for both of these cigars I only had the one H Upmann for the review and then I only have a 5'er of the Tenderloin
:-)
The other cigar that is my higher-end, go-to, highly rated, and consistently enjoyable stick, is my box of VSG Sorcerers
:-) I fear I'll go through these too quickly though so I only have been smoking one a month or so.

I consider myself lucky, being both a young cigar smoker and a newer cigar smoker I'm still looking for a good go to brand. The absolute best I have ever experienced was Liga privada 9 by drew estate.

For NC's, I'm a Fuente whore. Though I haven't had all these tat's/illusiones (I've had 2 tat's and 1 illusione) that a lot of the members seem to be listing. Maybe I need to expand a little.
But my heart (and palate) belongs to cc's. I haven't had a bad one yet. The Boli PC was outstanding. Love the Cohiba flavor profile too. Even the Quinteros are nice smokes.

Don't know if I can properly rank cigars since I have been smoking for under two years.
My favorites by marca that rank highly with me:
Cohiba: 30th Anniversario from the Jar
Partagas: Dunhill Seleccion Suprema No. 150
Montecristo: Dunhill Seleccion No. 4
H. Upmann: Pre-embargo Monarcas
Dunhill: Atados and Varadero
... and still searching for more

Haha, post #100 about a 100 point cigar. Coincidence? I think not!
