Had a friend in school named Richard Balsen, however he used to love introducing himself as Dick Balsen just so he could see people's reactions.

At my afterschool job in HS, I worked with a girl named Sparkle. She had a brother named Emerald and a sister named Ruby.

I just filled out an information request at work for a man in Texas named Rusty Ford.

Those parents are tools. Seriously. :-)

I understand the concept of "it's just a name / word / whatever, and people should be understanding" and all that; however, a little dose of realism would have stood them in good stead. WTF. I know, I'll name my first kid "Nine Eleven Was Great" --- everyone will understand, right?

Tools. :-)

How about that one Senetor. Richard Santorum. I believe Santorum is the fluid produced by the "dark hole" during anal sex. That poor bastard is screwed.

It's made up.

From Wikipedia
"Santorum is a sexual neologism proposed by American humorist and sex-advice columnist Dan Savage in 2003 to "memorialize" then US Republican Senator Rick Santorum from Pennsylvania due to the controversy over his statements on homosexuality. Savage asked his readers to submit new definitions for the term; the winning definition was "that frothy mixture of lube and fecal matter that is sometimes the byproduct of anal sex."

Similar to Favre.

"He favred on where to go on vacation until no one gave a rat's a$$"

Let's see....I went to high school with a Shaqueeta (sha-kweet-ah), Charmika (shar-mee-ka), German (Herman), Alolu (O-luu), Soo Wong (So wrong), and a girl whose last name was Idoyuh (Pronounced Eee-doh-yu, looks like I do you).

Ahhh public schools...the breeding grounds of the unusual. Hell, my high school was the center of a HUGE national debate and media coverage in 1999/2000.

I spent a few years in the Army Reserve (413th Supply Co. in NY) Had a captain with the initials P.M.S, and the S-3 Captain Wood, (nicknamed "woody"). Must have been one hell of a guffaw when he was promoted to Major.

Tried not to violate OPSEC here.
