Good morning all and yes, the espresso coffee is kickin'. Well, the Yankees won both of their games yesterday, first was 8 - 3 and the 2nd was 17 - 3 with a franchise history of 12 runs in the 1st inning. These two teams will be back at it today with the first pitch thrown at 1305 (1:05pm) and hopefully the Bombers bats stay hot. Also today, the NASCAR racers are in Indy running the Brickyard 400 this afternoon. I hope everyone has a relaxing Sunday with a couple of your favorites....... :-)

Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on as always. It was good to see the Yankees win another one yesterday as the beat the Orioles again and this time with a final score of 4 - 2. The Bombers will be on the road for the next week starting with a 4 game series against the White Sox this evening and then this weekend against the Red Sox. A big congrats to Paul Menard for winning his first NASCAR race yesterday and for doing it at the Brick Yard. Good morning all and yes, the coffee has been on since 0400 (yes, 4am) as I couldn't sleep any longer. Well, it was another high scoring game for the Yankees as they won again last night 18 - 7 (sounds like a score you'd have in a football game). These two teams will play one more this evening and then it will be off to Boston for the weekend for the Bombers. Being that it's Thursday, we'll be heading over to Schlesinger's Cigar Bar / Hudson Valley Cigars this evening to enjoy a couple of primo stogies and update all the S/BOTL about our upcoming Quad State Herf on the 20th. Well, the Yankees swept the White Sox as they won again last night 7 - 2 and they'll be heading to Boston tied for 1st place with the Red Sox. First pitch being thrown this evening at 1910 (7:10pm) and hopefully the Bombers stay on this winning streak they are on. Well, we had a good time last night at Schlesinger's Cigar Bar / Hudson Valley Cigars enjoying primo stogies and seeing the local S/BOTL. Good morning all and yes, the Saturday morning special blend is brewin'. Well, it was good to see the Yankees win last night 3 - 2 over Boston in Fenway. They'll be back at it today at 1610 (4:10pm) and knock on wood, the Bombers end up on top again. Also today, the NASCAR Nationwide racers are in Iowa and the Camping World Truck racers are in the Poconos. I'll be heading up there (Poconos) later on today to be at tomorrow's race and have the privilege of escorting the Honor Guard and 50 West Point Cadets for the opening ceremonies. Hopefully mother nature holds out and lets the race go on as scheduled. I hope everyone has a super Saturday and enjoys it as well....... :-)

Good morning all and yes, the coffee has been on since 0400. Well, it was a great day yesterday at the Pocono Race Track as the West Point Cadets and the MP Honor Guard did a great job with the opening ceremonies and presenting the Colors. Around 1500 (3pm), it began to rain so they red flagged the race and we jumped in my jeep to head back home. 2 hours later, they dried the track and I got home at the same time to see the end safely at home. I see that the Yankees lost last night, 1 game behind the Red Sox again. I hope everyone has a good week and enjoys....... :-)

Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on as always. Well, yesterday was no slow day at all at West Point as the Installation received numerous lighting hits with trees and telephone / power poles down all over. We activated the Emergency Operations Center and it was staffed in no time. 3 hours later, all was handled and no one was hurt. Clean up will continue today as well as recovery over the entire post as well as the training areas and ranges. I hope everyone has a good day and enjoys....... :-)

The Bombers will be taking on the Rays this evening starting at 1905 (7:05pm) here in the Bronx. These two teams will meet again today at 1305 (1:05pm) weather permitting as they are calling for heavy rains off and on today. Good morning all and yes, the coffee has been on since 0400 as I just couldn't sleep any longer. Well, the Yankees game in the Bronx got rained out as well as the NASCAR race up in Watkins Glen, NY. The Yankees game has been postponed to the next time the Rays are in town which is the 20 - 22 September. The NASCAR will hopefully go on today starting around 1000 (10am) live on ESPN. I just checked the 7 day forecast on NOAA and it looks good for this Saturday's Quad State Herf:
