Been also enjoying beers from Three Floyds lately.
Had Gumball Head, Groch Foch (I think that's how it's spelt) and Alpha King.
My favorite of the three..........Gumball Head, a hoppy wheat ale.

halfway done with my first bottled version of a local microbrewery's beer, Hangar 24 Orange Wheat. Quite possibly my favorite beer, EVER. I love it.

Last night my wife brought home the new Sierra Nevada Estate Brewer's Harvest Ale. This one is a very limited release and cost 3Xs as much as a regular.
It's worth the price!!!:-)

Point Oktoberfest- Excellent, very tasty!
Leinenkugels Oktoberfest- Not quite as good as the Point.
Hoegaarden- I dig wheat beers, this one is excellent.
Great Lakes Brewing Co. Commodore Perry IPA- My first IPA. Not sure how I feel. While I like the grapefruit/apricot flavors it is a little harsh and bitter.

Telcodrone is the President of the Cincinnati area Bloatarians (the local home brewers association). He really is a "hop head". He got me into it and I'm starting off with a simple one like Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Last night I had a couple of large cask conditioned Two Hearted at our local Cigar Bar. Hail to the hops!

Drinking some SA Octoberfest but they don't seem as good as last year's batch. I don't know if the recipe changes, but it's just not quite the same to me.
