I have been trying to find a set of cloth lacrosse pads to fit me. I hate the huge pads they sell now, but I am old...I would put my kid in them too, Mike.

I sure freaking hope so, I just might switch back to cable if it doesn't.

I heard about it today so I just watched this video. I am a HUGE Isles fan and all I can say is why only two games? I think 5 for these type oof hits is moreappropriate. I would like a more physical team and even a quality enforcer but not this. I hope pascal will be alright.

Watched the end of the Islanders game on tv tonight. I love when games are decided by a sudden death shootout.

Ugh....hate the shootout, Ryan. I wish it would go back to each team getting 1 point for a tie at the end of the 5 minute OT.

I don't like ties. Makes me feel like the game has unfinsihed business.

That's why I love the playoffs...play until someone scores, even if it takes 8 periods...nothing like playoff hockey. :-)

That I can definately agree with. I remember an Icehawks UHL playoff game I was at that ended in the 3rd OT. The worst part was the ref allowed the other team to actually takeout the Icehawks goalie by diving into him and laying down on him so he could not make an attempt at the save.

Sharks take down the Ducks again 3-1. To keep ahead of the Pesky Hawks.

In the flyers rangers game there were four fights tonight. It was all started when Carcillo went after Gaborik. I dont know Gaborik has ever had a fight before.

You are braver then I if you will wear them in game. I have been hit by wild shots more than once and after trying them on, I was not excited about the idea of having some plug uncork a wild one and get hit. My son actually liked the farrels, but they dont come in his size. So I went with some Itechs for him.

Suprised you are not rocking the old Bauer Pro defenders.

Thanks Mike...I have seen the Farrells, but they don't make them big enough to fit my shoulders and arms.

Had a set of cloth shoulder pads for about 15 years without a hint of plastic or anything else on them. After all those years, they finally fell apart, and I haven't found anything that will fit me that doesn't seem like a football linebacker's pads. :-)

Years ago I used to collect game worn jerseys...had the old Jokerit jersey with the evil clown logo, it was a super cool jersey...cool pick up!
