Tried some of the SM's Liquid Amber blend this evening. Not bad but I think I need to roast darker. Had an off sour taste. I'll make adjustments on the next roast.

New coffee! Sumatra Lintong Tano Batak :-) Roasted 2 days ago to just FC, drip, Silk. Tried for city+ but even though I stopped just at the 1st sign of 2nd crack, it came out darker than I liked. Still, EXCELLENT! Complex, sweet, loaded with that funky earthiness of a good Sumatran. I'm liking this one a LOT

So you experienced the same thing with this Sumatran as I did. It darkens pretty quick. I"m still on the fence with this one. That funky earthiness to make smells/tastes like raw green bell peppers.

I usually don't let it rest this long but I took Friday off and left it at the office.

Burundi from Gacokwe station. American roast. I've been drinking almost nothing else for weeks now. Perfect blend of bright acidity and smoothness.

CounterCulture's El Gavilan as a pourover or press; Toscano as an espresso. The Gavilan is nice and clean, with light, pure flavors, and is excellent iced. The Toscano is a lovely sweet Snickers bar of caramel, nuts and chocolate, good in milk or as a straight shot. Both very nice with a cigar.

New Coffee! FT Rwanda Cafe Femenino :-) Roasted 2 days ago to FC, drip, Silk and then dollop in 2nd cup. Pretty nice, smooth and mild, with a mouthfeel that improves as the cup cools. Frm Klatch, produced by all female farmers.

This morning was
Kenya Nyeri AA Gotomboya at FC.
It was reccomended for City to FC but it seems like I prefer these Kenyans at FC+. This was real good but not great. It improved very much as it cooled.
The last 2 Kenyans I did at city+ & FC tasted a littl grassy.
