And last I checked Stubbs led the team in strikeouts and was 15th on the team in average. REAL Stats
:-)
Lets not forget he is 61st in average in the National League for outfielders, not all players, just outfielders. And most of the guys ranked below him are pinch hitters. Oh and for everyday players (players with 3.1 AB's per game) he has the 91st best average, out of 96 everyday players. Oh, 4th highest in strikeouts too and all 3 of the regulars in the outfield rank in the top 20 in strikeouts.
:-)
And a hit brings his average a lot higher than a strikeout hurts his average.

Just read on ESPN that the Astros don't want to trade Oswalt

A player asking for a trade and a teams willingness to do so is a big difference.

I was born and raised in Cincy and I've always loved going to Reds games back at Riverbend, and now at Great American which is my favorite park in the country. Of course, I am biased, and Fenway is AWESOME, but I love going to games at Great American. The stacks, the river, great design, great brats, and I'll take the ferry over to the Hofbrau (where I met my wife), but I haven't taken the ferry in a couple years. Does it still run?

Ha ha! Vegas is getting worried! A week or so ago, the odds for the Reds to win the WS were 50:1 Now the odds are 25:1
:-)
I am glad I got 40:1 odds
:-)

Fellas, how do you add the "Reds Fan" banner in your signature line?

Prolly safe to say we won't finish last this year, anyway! You can add a Reds banner using your "User CP" area- "edit signature" and add a banner that way.

I very rarely bet more than 10 bucks ever. I do gambling just for fun. I put $100 in my account 2 years ago and I have not had to reload it. I have $160 in it. I just do it for fun. I made a lot of money on the Bengals this year. No one would give them the respect they deserved so they were usually underdogs.
