Day 6 for the El Salvador Majahual -Tablon La Montana and it's starting to decline. Still good, but probably best on days 4 and 5.

Some El Salvador from a local roaster. Question, can the roasting flavor intensify the longer the beans sit? I've had this batch for about a month. Maybe it's because I've been drinking the lighter roasts I've made, but this ES tastes over roasted. Never noticed it before when fresh.

Interesting question. I NEVER keep coffee this long. It makes sense though. As coffee gets older, the varietal characteristics diminish. I don't know that roast flavors would intesify, but seems like they would certainly dominate.

New coffee! Guatemala Genuine Antigua Covadonga :-) Roasted 2 days ago to FC, drip, Silk creamer and 1/2 & 1/2 (2 cups
:-)). Decent cup but it's not blowing me away like some other recent ones have. Maybe a tad too dark, funny, it looks darker than where I stopped the roast, a couple snaps into 2nd.

So how does the silk compare to the half and half? I can't imagine it tastes as good. I love me some good 'ol fashioned fattening dairy.

It is a non "flavored" silk. It is not like the regular Vanilla Silk that I drink instead of milk. It tastes just like 1/2 & 1/2. Just as thick and creamy too. Give it a try. Its the one in the red label.
