The unthinkable happened tonight. Mariano Rivera blew a save. 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th with a 1 run lead. Double then a HR by Ichiro. Only the 2nd blown save this season for Mo.

with the rosters expanded, it shouldn't be much of an issue.

Ichiro said he infield hits are sexy but every now and then he has to flirt and show his power...LOL!!

So Mo is human after all. Better now than October. What bugs me is why Girardi didn't make him walk Itchy with 1st base open and only a single needed to tie.

Yankees win #95 tonight. Teixeira had 4 hits including 2 HRs, triple, single. Cano had 4 hits with 3 doubles. CC gets AL leading win #18. Magic number to clinch a postseason spot is 2 games and for the division is 9 games.

And then some!! Or else those damn Yanks win the AL. I believe Boston is the only team capable of stopping NY. Now...who wins the NL??

Last Play: M. Teixeira homered to deep right
Note to Theo Epstein; Thank You for holding off spending the extra 2 million to land Teixeira.
:-)
Ortiz should come around soon, right?
