Brad Delp
Dickey Betts
Derek St. Holmes (Ted Nugent's "Stranglehold")
All 3 Vant Zant brothers

My picks would be Bruce Dickinson, Ann Wilson and Chris Cornell. I'd be remiss to not mention two names that are more deserving than most people listed, surprised for a thread that stretches back a year and a half...
Elvis Presley
Paul Rodgers

C'mon! No classic metal fans mentioned Eric Adams the lead singer of Manowar?!?!?! I mean questionable fashion choices aside the guy could
wail :-)
"Heavy Metal, or no metal at all. Wimps and posers, LEAVE THE HALL!"
Also, honorable mention to King Diamond of Mercyful fate

My favorites through the decades:
80's: Don Dokken- Dokken. Just listen to "Alone Again".
90's: Layne Staley - AiC
00's: James Labrie - Dream Theater. His voice can be polarizing, but I happen to like it. Fits their music.
Someone I think is flying under the radar is Noah Hunt from the Kenny Wayne Shepherd band.

Got throw in David Gilmour from Pink Floyd and his solo recordings. Plays guitar fantastically, too.

I saw Halestorm for the first time (never even heard their music until the concert) back in March and was very impressed with her. She reminds me of a more powerful Nancy Wilson. She's not too shabby to look at either.
