I have a Ruger P95 and I just got a Kel Tec PF-9 today at lunch. And another 3 boxes of 9mm ammo.

Looking for a hand gun for personal home protection. I hear good things about the Glock 21. Anybody have some advice? Price is an issue. I don't want to spend more than 500 bucks.

In that case, the glock isn't a bad choice if you need to stay under $500. If you can spend just a bit over, you could look for a used Sig. Glocks are indestructible, but they are like a Toyota compared to a Sig which is like a lexus.

As with most of my purchases, I always set a budget and then blow it. So you are on board with recommending a Sig.
Thanks.

I bought my factory refurbished Sig 226 for $575 and it was like new. Haven't had a single problem in close to 1000 rounds so far. If you can find a refurb you are 'only' $75 over your budget.

Had the girls out for some range time the other day and thought I would post a pic of them after clean up before they go back in the safe.

From the bottom up:
1. A Rock River ar with the 14.5" barrel and a m3 sight.
2. A DS Arms SA58 fal 16" barrel short gas system.
3. A H&K 91 preban 18" barrel.
Unfortunitly the 91 will be going for sale soon because I am getting into some class 3 stuff. Please don't post any questions about the sale in the thread, if you have questions and comments please pm me. Thanks!
:-)

I shot one a couple weeks back and while I enjoyed the smooth lever action my preference is still the 10/22.

I am getting it as a survival gun. Very accurate and very cheap ammo.

I haven't shot the lever action one. I do love my Ruger 10/22 rifle though.

Yep, tack driver and I can shoot that thing all day for next to nothing. Can't say the same about my AR.
