I don't have cable so I've been downloading the episodes. I'm caught up to episode 6. So far so good. I now Rita is annoying, but it adds a realistic element to the show. These too are still a relatively new couple and working out their boundaries. The idea of hiding his other life in plain site is interesting, but I wonder how that will keep working out. He already lies to Rita about spending so much extra time at work (when he's out playing). It seems like an easy way to get busted.
In any case. A great show and I can't wait to see how they develop the rest of the season.

Does anyone else remember that?
Now I remember ... he played the serial killer in
Blow Out, opposite John Travolta and Nancy Allen. Great Brian De Palma film.

I haven't seen these roles. I'll have to check 'em out. I just remember Harry and the Hendersons and then 3rd Rock. I know I've seen him in plenty other roles, just don't remember them.

I looked up his movie with Denzel. It was Ricochet.
In any case, he does comedy and serial killer very well.

This week's show was good. I liked the twist ending. Wonder how Dexter's gonna go forward from this. Glad to see another episode that didn't end with a big cliffhanger ending.

SPOILER ALERT!!!
I've been wondering if Trinity has caught on to Dexter. Who is the casket for?
The ending was quite interesting. It seemed like things were moving a bit too quickly and I was expecting him to discover it was the assistant before he took out the photographer. The photographer's disappearance will probably be blamed on the assistant, but will Quinn make any connections about seeing Dexter at that bar. Did he see the photographer there?

Quinn's no replacement for Doakes on the show. I loved Doakes' character on the show. I could care less if Dexter offs Quinn.

I am thinking Trinity is onto Dexter. I don't think he's made it killing people for 30 yrs without being observant. The chances are he's well "onto" Dexter.

Yeah. It's interesting that Dexter has had the wool pulled over his eyes a couple of times already. His brother may have been understandable, but Jimmy Smits also got around him. You would think his predatory instincts would kick in stronger.

Dexter is getting sloppy IMO. It leads me to believe that next season will be the end of the series.

Interesting episode this week, no doubt. I think Dexter is going to end up forming quite the bond with Trinity, the best way IMO to get him comfortable before he kills him.

This week's episode through me for a loop. I thought the coffin was for Dexter, but it was for _____ (in case you haven't seen it yet). The cycle would have been over if Dexter hadn't had messed it up. Nice.

The Dexter and Trinity relationship is definitely getting interesting.
With regards to who shot Deb, if it wasn't Trinity, who was it?
What's your best guess? Someone we know, or someone we don't?

My first bet is on Christine but I did wonder about Trinity sitting in a car. But they said the shooter was only 5' from her when it happened.
