Big let down for the B's with the lack of defense, they trade for Wade Redden are you kidding me:-)
Patrice Bergeron out with concussion I'm not happy today.

Low draft pick in 2014...Reddin won't even dress?

Love seeing this ...

"The NHL's trade deadline passed, and Roberto Luongo remains with the Vancouver Canucks, the victim of his own long-term contract that extends through 2022.

Luongo showed his frustration with his contract and his current status as a backup goaltender Wednesday during a news conference with the Vancouver media.

"My contract sucks -- that's what's the problem," Luongo said. "I'd scrap it if I could now."

Louuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.... can suck it.

Won't lie, excited to see what he brings to the team.

Sad fan of the Sharks.
It finally has happened....I hate the Sharks. :-)

I cant blame you. Im not happy. I just dont understand either of these acquisitions today. Of the comments from Sharks fans I have heard today not a single perzon was happy to see Torres in teal. Most everyone remembers his head shot on Michalek in the 06 playoffs. Dirty POS! I am just so unhappy with thid signing.

Read something about replacing clowes toughness. Clowe was a character guy who would stand up for teamates. Torres is no Clowe.

Clowe get a goal and an assist in his first period as a Ranger, Mike. :-)

Sometimes I guess a change of scenery is just what the Dr ordered.

Christ... Looks like Clowe wanted to give some jump... Wow!
icehog3 09:37 PM 04-03-2013
All 3 of the Rangers that were added today scored, Clowe, Brassard and Johnny Moore....wow.
Ahbroody 11:42 PM 04-03-2013
Wow Minni called for 2 penalties in the 3rd so far should have been atleast 5 penalties. Some really questionable crosschecks and interference have been ignored. Glad Sharks up 4-2. Guess they are largely letting them play.

That was a violent crazy end to that game. Anyone with GCL just watch the 3rd. Both teams got away with a lot at the end.

Funny, new Red Sox players say the same thing, guys who come from teams like the Padres or most National League teams are always surprised about the "playoff atmosphere" around the Red Sox, usually regular season games against the MFYs.

For some reason they don't realize just the level of excitement around Boston teams.

Rangers really have amped up their game with their recent acquisitions. Fluery made some great saves last nite. After giving up 5 goals on Wednesday, he brought his "A" game last nite. I'm glad I found this banter thread.

That's pretty sweet. Oh and nice use of "pop". My wife gives me grief every time I say pop despite the fact she lives in Buffalo now. Damn southerners.

I know, alll my Milwaukee MoB Brothers call it "soda", and think I am goofy for calling it "pop". We even have a big store here called "The Pop Shoppe". So it's those damn "Far Northerners" too. :-)
