Just finished "30 Minutes or Less"
One of the best comedys I have seen yet. It makes The Hangover seem like a sleeper

Thanks for the rec. Looks like I'd enjoy this movie.
Hootie I was not impressed with The Thing, but I found the old 80s version lacking, too, so maybe I just do not like
the premise. I saw something weird yesterday. I never got to see Black Dynamite, but I DID see the trailer live
in a theater one night, and thought, 'how brilliant'. So I have a copy of it on tap for a day to come soon, but in
my waiting period, I went to IMDB to check it out a bit. The latest pages of reviews were all gushing about it,
how it was a brilliant execution of a brilliant idea. So out of curiousity, I went to the first series of reviews and they
just eviscerated it, ironically for all the same reasons it was being praised a few years later on. I thought that was
funny. I think the first reviewers might have been offended by it and only realized it was a spoof much later if at all.
They seemed a little dim.
Expendables (Netflix streaming)
One of the most disappointing movies I've seen in a long time. Had there been no names in it, maybe it would have been watchable just for the escapist fights and explosions. But, cmon. There was so much opportunity to mine the expectations of these guys. Huge waste of time.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. OK, but glad I did not pay to see it in the Theater.

V for Vendetta. I religiously watch this movie on the 5th of every month. I love every single thing about it. Such an intelligent, well thought out movie.

Watched "Safehouse" with my wife and son over the weekend. Not very complex but a good action film.

Working from home and I saw that "Red Dawn" was on. Time for a long break.
