Wine, Beer, and Spirits>beer hauls

Oh, and your beer bottles are too small. What's all this 355ml rubbish about?

Yeah 12 oz's, unfortunately that is the only size they come in. I look at it this way, I drink more of different kinds of beers instead of one or two of the same beer.

If I was buying bombers I'd go stones. Dogfish head doesn't do bombers only wine size bottles and 12oz's. The Black & blue, Red & white, Sautea, Theobroma, Chateau Jiahu and Miles Davis *****es Brew are all wine size 25.9 Oz.

Also Stones makes good FULL beers, Try the double bastard ale, arrogant bastard ale, Vertical epic, Russian imperial stout and the oaked arrogant bastard ale.

I can get the Sublimely Self Righteous Ale, Smoked Porter and the Old Guardian easily, might need to search for those you mention.

The Sublimely Self Righteous is awesome. That the Russian imperial and Double Bastard are my favorites. LOVE the Ruination as well. Double Bastard will always be my favorite though.

Nice Pick ups!

I love the Raison D'etre and quite a few others there. Never had the Dark Star, let me know how it is!

I was glad to see the price was only $12 for the 4. I figured it would be $17 like KBS or Nemesis

I will! I don't know about it's US availability... brewed by a small brewer in Kent! I love it... refer the cask to bottles though.

Also... at the price below, it would have been bad form to pass on a bottle of duvel...

I was wondering if any of you can get your hands on Bell's Winter White Ale, or Oberon. I cant get them down south at all. If you can I WTB some thanks guys

Bell doesn't distribute much down south I really wanted to try their expedition stout. Same with Alesmiths speedway stout and founders......We don't get too good of Imperial Stouts around here. I'd love to find someone to hook me up with some of these. Especially the speedway stout.

We get most everything Bell's makes so I will stop by the store and see tomorrow. The Oberon is probably gone because it was a summer seasonal but I will look for it as well.

I've still got some from last year and it is awesome. It seemed boozy when fresh, but is a delight now. I'll have to get some 2010 also.

Duvel for $1.27?? Holy cow. I'd have cleared the shelves.

Well, that's UK prices... so about $2? Yeah, I might go back and buy some more for when the bigger haul runs out.

Agreed. Fell in love with this at their brewpub in Rehoboth a couple months ago, brought home a growler. I'm going to be back there in 2 weeks, hope to get another.

Cheers,
G
