I brew a lot of wild/sour beers, this one was a Belgian Quad, bourbon barrel aged with cherries.
Seth, do you buy and drink a lot of commercial Wilds/Sours?

Yes, I do.

Have you tried Cable Car or Duck Duck Gooze?
I have loved the Russian Rivers I've tried. I wish more breweries would put out sours, it just seems that sours aren't that popular I guess.

Grabbed a few bottles of Life and Limb that I'll bring to the shack.

Shipyard Pumpkinhead is back on tap in New England for the fall season!!
Had three at lunch today -- I'm sensing any client putting in an RFP this afternoon is going to see a "Happy Vin" discount on their proposal.

Had myself a FAT TIRE last night with my Captain Jack, and the smoke actually made the beer better.

Life and Limb 2 - hate to say that I really did not think it was all that special(but I have been drinking some pretty amazing beers lately).
Got another bottle I am going to lay down for awhile.

Have you tried Surly Abrasive yet? It's good but potent. The hops really mask the alcohol.
Last night I had Great Lakes Lake Erie Monster IIPA. It tasted too sweet to me for an IIPA. Not horrible, but at $12/4-pack there are others I'd buy first next time.

tasty beer, hopefully more sour builds over the next year or two. Right now it's a very refreshing floral sour...

I like it. I had their Humidor Zhukov and the spanish cedar was so strong it really turned me off. The oak is pretty forward in this beer, but it works well.
