Mike hooked me up with one of his buddies that makes Kydex holsters. Got it yesterday, and it is sweet!

Now if I just had something to put in it...

It's definitely well made. Pretty comfortable too, even with my spare tire.

I can guess what a lot of people got for Christmas. I was just looking at PSA for kits to build out some lowers and they are cleaned out. I guess I'll wait a bit.
When Steve posted his kydex holster it made me think about how much I like mine. I have had it now for over six months and carry a full size 1911 in it all day with no discomfort at all and usually only cover with a t-shirt. It's from a company called Panther Concealment (Jacksonville, FL) and if I didn't have one I wouldn't believe how good it is.
www.pantherconcealment.com I think. I have nothing to do with them other than I have bought a holster from them and like it a lot.

Good looking holsters Greg. One thing I really like about the one I got is the sweat guard between me and the slide though.

Yep, I wish mine had one, but they will make it with one if you request it. they are some of the best at making sure you get what you want that I have ever seen.

Quick Question: Anyone ever heard of a gun referred to as a "R2 R2"?

Searching for "r2 gun" got some interesting results. I like the 50 BMG one.

You know, it's not often that I have to admit I was totally wrong about something. Slightly mistaken maybe, confused possibly, but usually not completely wrong. But tonight I must admit I was way off on spending ~$30 on a "gun" belt. A friend gave me a 511 belt tonight that was a little large for him and I cannot believe the difference in comfort and feel!
Wow, I wish I had tried one a lot sooner!

The TDU belt Steve?

That's more than a 30 dollar belt
A good belt makes a world of difference

I owe a lot of people an apology for thinking they were nuts for spending that kind of money for a belt!
