Mets win game 1 of the doubleheader against the Marlins, 2-1. RA Dickey looked really good...where the hell has he been all season?? :-) :-)

And so the end of the modest winning streak comes to an end...we get shutout by the Marlins 6-0...Pelfrey is at it again. :-) :-)

Somebody...please move him to the bullpen. :-) :-)

That move would be way too logical.

Mets come back from being down 2-0 and win, 3-2 against the Marlins. Good things seem to happen when Pelfrey doesn't pitch. :-)

And hey...we're only 22 games outta first. :-) :-)

Third place rocks!!

Up 7-1 in the 9th...the bullpen made this one interesting. Mets prevail against the Marlins 7-5. :-) :-) Still in third place. :-) :-)

That was a long half inning. Even Ron Darling said "Boutista shouldn't get to comfortable with this 7-1 lead" as the top of the 9th was starting.

Mets take down the nats today 7-3. Closer and closer to .500. :-) :-)

The bullpen reared its ugly head again this evening...give one away to the Nats in the bottom of the 9th...8-7. :-) :-)

Last night Gee gave up a HR in Tom Milone's 1st at bat in the majors...and on the first pitch. Now, normally this wouldn't be a problem...but Milone is a pitcher. :-) :-) :-)

Mets take the Nats and the series with a 6-3 comeback win. :-) :-)
