601 La Bomba Toro - dry boxed this one for a day or so, as I keep my rh too high for a La Bomba to be ready to smoke right out of the Coolidor...bold and peppery, the kind of cigars action movie heros & and Ernest Hemingway would have smoked...or written about smoking anyway...
While I do love this cigar, it's so damned strong that I'll be regretting smoking it tomorrow morning, when I'm barely able to taste my breakfast cigar...but hey I'm sure there's some poignant quote about sacrifice...that I could quote....but I won't - because I'm too busy enjoying this cigar.

CLE Corojo Corona - okay so I was impatient...only rested these about 1.5 months so far so there is definitely some bold pepperiness throughout but in a really good way with lots of complex flavors accompanying the pepper. These are definitely great cigars, I'll be buying more in the future.

Cigar Federation Leche de Mama Maduro - I snagged up a bunch of these because I loved the original Leche de Mama so much and I knew they would sell out. They always sell out.
Great cigar! Creamy as one would expect, earthy - with a hint of sweetness but not too much which is preferred. Immense smoke billows off the foot a lot like the Nica Rusitca. Matter of fact, it smells a lot like the Nica Rustica but it tastes absolutely different.
A spectacular cigar, I will buy more whenever they restock them, but if I'm being totally honest, I do prefer the original Leche de Mama to the Maduro.

Casa Fernandez Reserva Maduro Toro - decided to lower the rh on this one prior to smoking and it made quite the improvement!

Southern Draw Kudzu Axil Lancero - unfortunately I'm suffering from some smoker fatigue from a AB Tempus Churchill I had last night, but I can still tell this is an excellent smoke. Will definitely be getting more of these!

Wow lots of great cigars being smoked around here lately!
Tonight I went with...:

Casa Fernandez Aganorsa Leaf Toro - this has been a finicky one for me, really delicate wrapper and they burst on me a couple times last year in the wintertime. Been experimenting with even lower RHs on some of my NCs and it seemed to have done the trick with this one, not a single crack! Plus, flavors were much more defined and clearer. Still a ton of pepper on this one, but far less rough around the edges. Great smoke!

What did you think of the 2019 Las Calaveras, Dave? I've only had the '18s and '19s, but prefer the '18s by a good measure.

I only had one of the 18’s as well and think it qualified as an LE. The 2019 seems to me to just be a good cigar but nothing special about it so I agree with you. The 19 gets my buy it online and on sale recommendation which is fortunately how I got my box hah.
