It's gonna be a good roast day. I'm gonna roast some Kona and some 100% Jamaica Blue Mountain. Will likely roast 1.5# of Kona for cold brewing and 1.5# JBM for French press.
I also picked the Hario Mizudashi 1000ml cold brewer to arrive early next week. Reviews on it are great.

Just ordered 10lbs of:
Brazil - Daterra Espresso Yellow
Cupping Notes: An intense aroma, notes of cocoa in flavor completed with a full
body and moderate acidity. Long finish displaying hints of chocolate and fruits.
Looking forward to roasting this one.

Nice pickup Shane. I think Brazillian coffee is my favorite, followed closely by Ethiopian. I did roast up some Kenyan beans the other night and what I"m currently drinking.

Roasted last night, 1lb each of El Salvador Finca Siberia Bourbon and Hawaiian Maui Mokka. The Mokka always gives me problems. Never heard 1st crack. that was using my Behmor with 1-P5-D settings.
In case anyone needs some new beans, Burman Coffee has a newletter special on a few new lots. I picked up 5lbs each of an Ethiopian and Costa Rican for $4.50/lb. Even with shipping, it was just over $5.50/lb.

I always find myself roasting just into 2nd crack. Maybe I'll come up just a bit short of 2nd crack when I roast some next week.

Exactly. I was about 20-30 seconds after 1st crack ended and just before 2nd crack.
