Accessory Discussion / Reviews>Power Turbo Torch Lighter

I've been using one of these jet lighters for over a month, and it's probably my favorite. I love the huge plastic reservoir...no empty-fuel surprises. Only small issue is the size. Too big for my pocket, but not a problem with a traveldor.

However, be careful buying lighters off deal extreme. I bought a classy yibao (http://www.dealextreme.com/p/tri-s-s...-gift-box-8052) and it had a defective valve. When sparked, the flame would grow higher and higher. Last I tried, it only took a few seconds to grow over two feet. I'm tempted to post a pic...but I don't want the valve to completely fail when I'm holding it. :-)

Just got in these two couple of weeks ago. Holds a chitload of fuel and seems pretty economical on gas usage. I like both of them. Not bad pricing. I'll get more for sure. Took two weeks for free delivery.

Got my 5 in and they work great! As others have said they hold a ton of fluid... less filling and more burning :-)

great find! I'm tired of the expensive lighters not doing what I expect. I have a Bugatti and a Xikar and man, they need to be re-filled like once a week. I'll never get another without a see through window.

Sorry to bring this post up again but I bought 2 of these after reading this and when I try to fill the lighter it won't take more than a quater inch of fluid in the tank, I tried bleeding it out until it was completely empty and it still didnt take any more fluid, am I doing something wrong?

I've received 2 of these in the last week and haven't had any problems filling.

Is your butane can possibly low? If so, it may not have enough propellant to create enough pressure to push the butane into the lighter.

If the can is plenty full, try putting the lighter in the freezer for ~30 minutes, and then try filling. Lowering the temperature in the lighter increases the pressure differential between the empty tank and can, improving flow of fuel into the lighter. Without the freezer trick I probably get around 70% fill on these lighters. With the freezer trick I get around 90%.
