:-) Two of my favorite smaller NCs, along with the old school La Vieja Habana Silencios.

I completely forgot about it till i checked a humi but La Aroma De Cuba New Blend Rothschild.

While not exactly a 30 mins smoke more like 45ish but its a damn good (quickish) smoke none the less.

Villiger Export Maduro

Not the best, but those little machine made Villiger Export Maduros are pretty good especially for the price. Plus they're dry cured so you can stash them anywhere for whenever an unexpected smoking opportunity arises.

None of the reviews I've read have been kind, but has anyone around here tried the RyJ Julietas yet?

They're not too bad for a mild smoke

Really? Or are you just being funny?
Reason I ask is because I tried all the La Vieja Habanas and "The Early Years" and they were some of the most gawdawful things I've ever smoked.
Especially the La Vieja Naturals. Man, were they horrible.
They were super cheap, borderline free on cbid, that's why I got them all. Even the maduro couldn't redeem the batch. :-)

I agree with you Scott. DE really failed IMO with the La Vieja's line. But that's just my two cents.

No, truly. They changed the blend a few years ago, and those are nothing like the originals, Scott. But back in 2004-2005, I went through several boxes of 40, and they were awesome. If they hadn't changed the blend, regardless of smoking mostly CCs now, I would still be smoking them.

Like Tom, I was a huge fan of the Silencios. You will not find a better example of "they sure don't make 'em like they used to"

You know I'd love to. I remember how much we enjoyed those. I wish I could buy more.

That makes a lot more sense. The ones I got were '07-'08.
A visiting buddy of mine loved the nats, so I sent him home with all the nats and corojos. He didn't dig the maduros.
I was baffled that he liked them, but he wasn't a cigar smoker. He sure enjoyed them, though. :-)

YEP!! They come in a little soft pack like backwoods. Hella good. Too bad NO ONE around me carries them anymore.

For short smokes, I'm a fan of the RASCC, Trini Reyes and Party Shorts. :-)

Mentioned once, but my current fav is the Cabaiguan petite.

The CAO La Traviata petites are worth a try.

For something with more power 601 Red Guapitos, CAO MX2 and LX2.
