General Discussion>RIP Mister Moo
Jason 11:50 AM 02-10-2017
Dan was one of the finest human beings I've known. Always time for almost anyone (didn't suffer fools for long) and for that, he'll live on in many people's memories for a very long time.

We should all hope to have the same impact with the living we're doing.

Cheers Dan

RIP, his knowledge and helpfulness was amazing. I will have a pipe and a moka pot in his honor.

I am deeply saddened to hear this news. Dan and I used to get together fairly often for lunch or coffee, with cigars and pipe smoking after. He never converted me to pipes, but I could listen to him talk about it all day. He made the best coffee I have ever tasted. He was a brilliant man and a marvelous conversationalist. He was always kind, generous, and engaging. I'm sorry to say that I had not seen him in quite some time following his injury. I am glad he will be remembered fondly by so many. Gone far too soon. Rest in peace, Dan Nathan. This world was a better place with you in it.

Dan got me into good coffee over a decade ago. It’s priceless what he advised me on
