Went at 11:00 this morning - there were three electronic booths and about 8 paper booths, and I was second in line for the electronic and the paper booths were empty. Somehow I feel better about voting electronically than on paper, although I'm sure some feel the opposite.
It feels good! There will certainly be record turnout this year.

Done. In and out in less than 10 minutes, plus the voting place it a short walk from home.

Done....5 minutes in and out, went with the paper ballot rather than waiting 45 minutes for the new machines.

I took my 8year old daughter with me and allowed her to shade in the vote. (something for her to talk about years from now) We got there around 7:15a (my old high school, Finney High) and left around 10a. Almost 3hrs but it was well worth every min.

It would come on, then shut off, annoying alarms sounding, then restart, work for a few ballots, then jam again, alarms sounding, etc. Bunch of elderly elections officials huddled around pushing & pulling on things--one guy, no lie, smacked the side of it like my dad used to do to "adjust" our console color TV. :-)
Apparently the tech crew showed up sometime later--my wife just called to say she was in & out in 7 minutes.

Voted at lunch. I was pleasantly surprised how short the lines were.

done, small town, no line. I took my 3 year old daughter, told the poll workers she was registered by ACORN. The Republican worker laughed, the Dem. (who is actually a friend of mine) didn't. I thought it was funny anyhow.

Done:-) About a 35 min wait in line while talking with my neighbors. We have the "ink-a-dots" here. Took about 1min 30sec to vote for everything, and even got my sticker "I Voted" too:-)

My lovely bride and I were numbers 62 and 63 this morning. About a half hour wait, but pretty well managed here.
Now for a late night of watching CNN...

I had a paper ballet too with "ink-a-dot". I thought it was a little strange they had us using sharpies to bubble the ballot. When you turned the ballot over to the back and bubbled, it bleed through to the front surprising close to the bubbles on the front.

Wifey and I voted last Tuesday... our polling place was pretty packed today when I drove by.
Should be a record turn out this year.

I went to my local polling place at 1:30pm. I was back out to my truck at 1:36pm. Walked in - straight up to the check-in - checked on the list and right over to the electronic machine. One minute later I was on my way out the door.
Now four years ago I was there for almost 45 mins.
