he is hoping to have everything sanded and ready for paint at the end of the day. all the trim should be rehung today as well.

then it's clean it up tomorrow, get the rest of the downstairs furniture moved out because the guys are coming monday to patch, strip, sand and refinish the floor.

they said that will take about 3 days.

so by thursday of next week, the construction will be done. then it is up to us to paint and move all the furniture back in.

Man I got sad there for second looking at the floor in those last couple pics but you're having it refinished so I'm ok now. I'm digging the patio. The best improvement I've made to my house is the covered deck. You should get lots of enjoyment out of it. :-)

Shaping up nicely. My only pause concerns your patio and the very large trees that are directly adjacent to it. In my line of work I've seen roots of trees do some damage pretty fast to concrete and pavers. My only suggestion would be to think about installing a root barrier product to reduce the potential future damage. One product I've used with great success is called Bio-Barrier.

That deck is really a great addition, the rooms are looking good too!

Everything turned out awesome! I have a paver patio project starting soon, just waiting on the perfect opportunity to get the equipment there.

Looks like a lot of work and pain in the rear, but well worth it.

I didn't realize when this thread started, at first I'm like, wow this guy did all this quickly! LOL

Looks like some great work going on there. Makes me feel like a slacker.
