:-) That clears things up. I thought it's something my wife would want. You know, to do her pedicure. Trims and polishes her nails. The drawer is for the nail clippings.

It is a cigar cutter!
If I cut 3,000 cigars it would only run 10 cents a cut!

That thing is gorgeous!! Yet something about that hand carved piece does not seem legit. I believe it was machine carved.
I call fake!!

I have a Prometheus that my wife got me when I finished my undergrad degree. It's awesome! Got too drunk once and dropped it. I sent it in to Prometheus and they fixed it for free! Gotta love the lifetime warranty. It's also got a punch on the end of it!

My dream toy would be a nice cabinet but I'd settle for a vino. Although the way I've been ordering boxes lately I might have to settle for a bigger cooler

The indentations are V-cuts (good table v-cutter)
Under the brass cover is a straight cutter (which I wouldn't use BTW we have one at the shop it crushes more than cuts)
One drawer is for droppings from the V-cuts
and in another drawer is a brass punch cutter

My
dream toy would be my own walk in with its own thermostat.
